A REVISED plan for the redevelopment of the Kew Residential Services site has been submitted to the State Government.
Sydney developer Walker Corporation last week submitted the proposal to Planning Minister Rob Hulls, in an attempt to clear a path for a multi-million dollar revamp of the Princess St site.Walker Corporation's original plan, submitted in June, was attacked by Boroondara Council, which said it lacked detail and ignored local planning laws.Walker Corporation business development manager Kevin Hunt said the revised plan took this into account.``It addresses a number of the issues that have been raised,'' Mr Hunt said. The developer is expected to meet the council this week to discuss the amendments.Boroondara Mayor Jack Wegman said the council had asked Mr Hulls to make the new information available and give it 28 days to consult the community and provide a response. From haven to battleground Page 34Copyright, 2005, Nationwide News Pty Limited
