KRS claims inaccurate
BEFORE Matthew Knight puts pen
to paper again and alleges I am taking the community and local groups
to court (Progress Leader, August 16) he needs to get his facts right.
No one is taking community groups
or the council to court.
It is also untrue to claim the
Department of Human Services plans to redevelop the Kew facility with
high-rise accommodation.
Boroondara Council has made an
application to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Up
until that point, my department has been co-operating with the council
in relation to the planning approval process for the redevelopment of
the Kew Residential Services site, and continues to do so.
